The Contrast Of The Dinner Customs Between Zhao State And Zhongshan State

The dinner custom embodies the economy, politics, culture and other sides of a country. This article aims at the explosion of the formation of the dinner custom of the Zhao State and Zhongshan State through the contrast and analysis of the difference and similarity in the dinner structure, dinking custom, food and cooking of the two countries which are in" neighborhood.The whole article is divided into five part as follows:1. Foreword. Mainly about the introduction of the cause and state of the study of the world and give the range and method for the study.2. The contrast of the food structure. The analysis of the zhao state begins with its economy in the period of the warring states. The zhao can be divided into two parts according to its economy , namely, the agriculture pat and no-agriculture part, thus analyzing the economy and food structure accordingly and drawing the conclusion that the Zhao State food mainly on grains and partly on meat. The Zhongshan State, having been conquered for several times, has a most conflict politic state. So the study of is divided into three periods according to its political as well as economical reason thus giving a clear development of its food structure. Later in this chapter, a description of the grains and meat is given and the drinking custom is also studied through the analysis of the drinking vessels and all kinds wine in both states.3. The contrast between dinner vessels and cooking. The contrast between the dinner vessels of the two states mainly happens in the unearthed bronze vessels and pottery. This chapter is also divided into two parts. Firstly, the detail contrasts between the bronze vessels and pottery. Secondly, the contrasts between the tombs from which abundant vessels are unearthed. The main content lies on the vessels and the sort of them, through which we can find the main sort of the pottery. The food of the Zhao state and Zhongshan state largely came from grains and kinds of meat which has been referred in the last chapter, and in this chapter we mainly talk about how the food is made from grains and meats and what kinds of food they made. From the study we learn that the grain-food and its cooking is similar to each other while the Zhongshan state has its special way to cook meat. 4. The contrast between the dinner grade, based on the study of the dinner structure and dinner vessels we further analyze the food grade and dinner grade thus find out the contrast between the two states in dinner grade.5. The formation of the dinner custom. Some of reasons for the formation of the dinner custom have been discussed in chapters before and this chapter is the summary.
