Probe Into The Emergence And Development Of Moyinzhuan Through Xiao Zhuan Of Qin-Han Dynasties

The essay intends to probe into the emergence and development of Moyinzhuan (a type of Chinese ancient characters) from the angle of Xiaozhuan (a character commonly used in Qin-Han). The main methods employed in the parper include textual research, anlysis and comparison, which help satisfy my purpose of obtaining an all-round inspection of Moyinzhuan and arriving at the core connections between Moyinzhuan and Xiaozhuan. Moyinzhuan came into existence and developed dramatically during the Qin-han period when the prosperity of Xizozhuan played a neglectless role for the growth and maturation of Moyinzhuan . Following its bloom during Qin-Han, Moyinzhuan once remained at a low tide from Wei-Jin period till Song-Yuan period. In the midst of Ming Dynasty, Zhuanke (seal cutting) and the related art revived, and this laid a solid foundation for the prosperity of Zhuanke art of Ming-Qing period.One of the creativities of the essay is that it employs the method of example-analysis to illustrate the key issues of the essay.
