The Construction Meaning Of The Predicate-object Structure And Its Influences On Other Phenomenon

As one of the most basic type of Chinese structure, the predicate-object structure has been concerned by the language educational world for a long time.We reviewed and summarized the research about the grammatical meaning of the predicate-object structure in the past. Most linguists refered that predicate-object structure contained a number of semantic relation, and that "Verb+Patient" is a unmarked form of the predicate-object structure. However, researches about the influences that the typical predicate-object structure imposed on relevant syntactic phenomenon are little, or to say, the points of studying related syntactic phenomenon are different from mine.We held the opinion that the construction meaning of typical predicate-object structure is the predicates' domination of object, the domination even influenced other relevant syntactic phenomenon, which reflected in the following four areas:Firstly, the object in several special predicate-object structure reflect some extent of the patient, that is to say, objects in these structure is dominated by the predicate; secondly, predicate-object verbs with objects again; thirdly, expansion of the verb-object clutch words;the last part is adjective with object.On the basis of previous studies, this article makes every effort to further explain the influences that predicate-object structure imposed on the relevant syntactic phenomenon from the view of construction grammar.
