A Research On The Sound-words Of Shuowen And Guangyun

Shuowen and Guangyun are the authoritative works of Chinese linguistics in our country They have important academic value in the fields of philology,lexicology,phonology and critical interpretation of ancient texts, which are still worthy of in-depth research.Sound-words refer to the words that originate from the voice and theirs forms record some one voice and theirs pronunciations are the same as or similar to certain voice.Most sound-words originate from exclamation and onomatopoeia.Based on the results of current research of Shuowen and Guangyun ,this paper,from a new perspective,makes a fresh research on sound-words of Shuowen and Guangyun .In the course of research,this paper spends a lot of time on the detailed collating,describing,classifying and topical studies of sound-words.It's mainly from the following aspects to study sound-words,such as example-words,explanation and classification of Shuowen and Guangyun ,the same words of Shuowen and Guangyun ,the new words of Guangyun which are compared with Shuowen and the voice -coinaging ways.In addition to revealing the characteristics of sound-words,this paper aslo tries to clarify the similarities and differences between ShuoWen and Guangyun in the aspects of vocabulary,lexical meaning and character,and to show their evolutionary law.
