With the transition of industrial society into informational society,and with the coming of knowledge economy era and high-tech shock wave,the world is becoming into a bran-new civilization and all kinds of aspects of human society are experiencing tremendous changes.Nowadays the occupational stress of employees in enterprises is becoming increasingly great.After our country's entering into WTO,domestic companies are faced with global competition.People's occupational stress is also increasing because the Finance Storm aroused by American credit crisis is impacting Chinese entitative economy.Over-the-top occupational stress will affect individual body and mind health and result in lower work efficiency and higher social cost.This paper constructed its research design founding on the review of the previous researches,and then study the relationships of Work values,Personality and Occupational Stress of employees by questionnaire investigation.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The main four occupation stress are operation stress,mind stress,communication stress and body stress.2.The average scores of work values are high,and that of personality and occupational stress are not that high.3.There are some individual diversities in work values,personality and occupational stress.Age,marriage and job time are the factors that influence work values.Gender influences personality.Age,education,task,job time influence occupational stress.4.There is a low negative correlation between Work Values and Occupational Stress,a moderate positive correlation between Personality and Occupational Stress,and no distinct correlation between Work Values and Personality. 5.Work Values and Personality both have predictive validities to Occupational Stress.Personality is a factor which adjusts the relationship between Work Values and Occupational Stress.
