Personality has always been the main research objective of the organizationalbehavior science, personality refers to the unique and stable thinking style orbehaviors style which distinguish one person from another. Occupation selctionbehavior is the spread of personality to the working place, it can reflect thepersonality of the employees, and different occupations would show differentpersonality characteristics. This research takes the IT employees as the subject toinvstigate the structure of IT Employees’ Occupational Personality.The research adopte academic analysis, structured interview and questionnaireresearch method to collect item, use exploratory factor analysis、confirmative factoranalysis、regression analysis、independent sample t test and ANOVA analysis to drawthe following conclusions.(1) IT employees’ occupational personality is a five factor construct, which consist ofpositive emotion、creative competitiveness、tough prudent、initiative and gumption.(2)IT employees’ occupational personality can negatievely predict job burnout,positively predict creative behavior and voice behavior.(3)job involvement partly mediated the relationship between IT employees’occupational personality and creative behavior and voice behavior; organizationalcommitment partly mediated the relationship between IT employees’ occupationalpersonality and job burnout、creative behavior and voice behavior.(4)Perceived organizational support moderated the relationship between ITemployees’ occupational personality and job burnout.(5)Gender、education、position and professional title would bring difference on ITemployees’ occupational personality.At last, this paper also concludes on the limitation of this research and putforward the problems that should be considered in the furthure research.
