On The Relations Between Students' Personality And Occupational Values In Medical Colleges

Recently,as the constant influence of financial crisis,and the incresing number of graduate students,more and more university students can not find an appropriate job,which has been paid attention by All society.2004is the first year of medical shool students graduated after expanding enrollment.From then on,the number of medical school students increased at the speed of 20%-30%.Accordingly,in 2009,the number of graduated students increased to 108 million.According to"the inquiry of medical school graduated students'work situation",82%students prefer large public hospital,while only 2 percent students choose urban hospital.Under the situation that the competition is getting tougher,what should university students do to make a mature chioce?The most important point is establish the right Work Values.Only in this way, university students may change their poor situation of finding job.so,in order to know well of the development of university students'work values,the author did this research,which combined personallity and work values,to explore the relationship between them.In using of Work Values Scale made up by Ling Wenquan,and Eysenck personal questionnaire revised by Qian Mingyi.Chosen 400 students which from Medical College of Jilin Province to analyse.Following results are gained:(1) In general,the first consideration of medical college students is whether or not they can get progress from the job,then, they would think about the health care.At last,status and prestige is considered.(2) The medical students do not have significant diffrence at gender.But there is some kind of diffrences at grade and major.(3) The medical students have significant diffrence at psychoticism of personality.(4) Neuroticism of the medical students has a significant relationship with status and prestige.(5) Psychoticism of the medical students has a significant relationship with status and prestige, health care and total work values.(6) Extraversion of the medical students has a significant relationship with status and prestige, health care,development and total work values.The personality of the medical students has a significant relationship with their work values,which proved that the chosen of job reflects the character of personality.
