Purpose:To investigate family factors that affected the Internet Addiction Disorder(IAD)of high school students,find out whether the differences are significant between addicted adolescent and non-addicted adolescent on family function and parental rearing patterns,research on the family enviroment of addicted adolescent,provide active and effective measures for IAD preventing and intervention.Methods:Questionnaire research method and interview methods are used.682 high school students from different schools were investigated by a questionnaire,which was composed by three scales:Adolescent Pathological Internet Use Scale(APIUS),Family Assessment Device(FAD) and EMBU.eight addicted students were interviewed based on it.Conclusions:1.The percentage of internet addicted user in high school students is 4.7%;2.The male students are more likely addicted to internet than female students,and the differences between them are significent;3.students come from single parent family are more likely addicted to internet than the others;4.There are significant differences between the family functioning of the high-addicted tendency students and low-addicted tendency students in the factors of Communication,Roles,Affective responsiveness,Affective Involvement and General functionning5.There are significant differences between the parental rearing patterns of the high-addicted tendency students and low-addicted tendency students on parental punishment and strictness,parental over involvement,parental recjction and Mother preference;6.Affective Involvement,parental punishment and strictness, mother over pretection and mother warmth and understanding can be prediction of Internet addiction.
