The Research On The Relationship Of General Self-efficacy, Academic Help-seeking And Academic Achievement Of Self-study Students In Hunan Province

Self-study students are the special group that share some character with the normal university students,but there are still some unique character different form them.So our research focus on 7 university in Hunan province self-study students,with questionnaire consisted of General Self-Efficacy Scale(GESE),Academic Help Scale and the Achievement that term.With the results we find there are relationship of three:A.The mean general self-efficacy of Hunan province is low than national normal.There are differences in the gender,male higher than female;there are differences in the grade,freshman lower than sophomore and junior;but there are no difference between city and country.B.There are difference between male and female in the academic help-seeking,female apt to more academic help-seeking than male when the problem appearance;also there are difference between the freshman and sophomore,junior;there are no difference between city and county.C.There are high correlation between general self-efficacy and academic help-seeking,academic achievement.The student which high self-efficacy there are more academic help-seeking and more academic achievement.There are also high correlation between academic and help-seeking,which high academic achievement,high help-seeking. General self-efficacy,instrumental help-seeking and executive help-seeking forecast the academic achievement fine.With the research we find that we must exalt the general self-efficacy,correct academic help-seeking,but more important we must make the students with high potential power that as the useful for the society.
