Xunzi's Moral Thought And Its Modern Value Research

Great importance to ideological and moral education has always been one of the biggest feature of China's traditional education, outstanding traditional ideological and moral education resources are reserved as the precious spiritual wealth of mankind. Xunzi attached great importance to ideological and moral education,leaving us the rich, brightly characteristic moral education thought including many positive, reasonable elements with permanent value beyond time and space. The reference value for cultivating virtues, all-round development socialist builders and successors, building a socialist harmonious society can not be underestimated. But the present systematic and professional resarch on Xun Zi's moral education is still weak, which leaves a larger space for the research in this area.Therefore, the systematic excavation to the Xun Zi's moral education, providing the model and the reference for the Contemporary China characteristic socialism moral education, is the contemporary scholar's honorable mission and I am willing to make my own attempt and effort in this aspect.
