A Textual Research On The Poetry In Poet Jade Bits

This thesis will focus on two aspects with respect to the research on the book.The first one is summarization and explanations of the theory in Poet Jade Bits.The second is the proofreading and annotation on Poet Jade Bits.The former is the focus and the body part of this thesis.The latter is a difficult part which is existed as appendix titled Annotation about "Poet Jade Bits".As a general collection of poetry talks,Poet Jade Bits is different from usual poetry talks which are made by feeling and some sort of essay.The arrangement of structure of this book by Mr.Juzhuang is very special.Besides what we have mentioned above that it is divided into poetics theory and poetry review,the former part about theory can logically be divide into another two parts,demonstration of macroscopic poetics theory from vo1.1-vo1.4 and microscopic creational methods from vol.5 - vo1.11.The first part of poesy generally discussed the basic principle that regard ancient as example,innovation as quality,implication as beauty,then selected detail comments of poem and poet by contemporary(Song Dynasty) famous poetical theorists in poetry comment part to demonstrate his idea about poetics.At last,sort out the rules of verses from poetry style,syntax and regulated.The arrangement of creative methods can be divided into 3 steps:pre-writing, writing and post- writing according to objective rules of poet writing.Firstly,be familiar with basic spells and primer before creation.Then assigned connotation,following with making phrase,by using basic skill of using allusions,rhyme,match,then revise and refine it repeatedly to make works ironical and can repose something and meet the orthodox need of Confucian poetry teaching after the completion of the creative works. Finally,acquire his literary style through long term training.In addition,Mr.Juzhuang summarized the disadvantages of writing poems for poem studiers' reference.Combing the thoughts in Poet Jade Bits will subject to logical system mentioned above.This book has 12 chapters.1 poetics theory part:poetic technique,poetry comment,poetic style,syntax.2 writing skill part:Spell,assigned connotation,building language,skill,refine skill, satire and xing,poetic style,poetic disease.The proofreading and Notes on Poet Jade Bits is a difficult point in this paper,it was also regarded as an initial study of Poet Jade Bits.Because all further study must be based on a rare material and the precise understanding of everything in the material first.According to present version Poet Jade Bits published in 2007,there are still some mistakes in its words,what's more,as a general collection on poetry talks,Mr.Juzhuang did not do the textual research while extracting the poetry talks.These mistakes are from two aspects,knowledge and characters.The referencing poetry poems of ancient works by author is different from the original works.It may because that poetry works is regarded as a small talk,the author did it with a casual attitude in the process of writing. and most poem sited here is recorded by memories without examination,this is the right thing that we need to do while proofreading.As annotation,most modern people can not understand the word or phrase in Poet Jade Bits,because most of them are of allusion,some of which are controversial even for the ancients.I did a lot of work which is trifle and complicate,but indeed get improved in the research,and also hope to excite more deeper understandings from other poem studiers according to this research.
