Research On The Eco-awareness Of Shen Congwen's Writings

In modern literary history, the eco-awareness in Shen Congwen's writings is an important phenomenon and a worthy studying topic. This paper, Shen Congwen's works as the research object, it attempt from the harmony of man and nature to the harmony among human beings and then to the harmony and hidden concern between man and society from three angles, carding to explain the works of Shen Congwen's embodiment of ecological awareness, connotation and characteristic. This paper can be divided into three parts:The first chapter is about the harmony between man and nature. This study emphasis on harmony between man and nature, is a very important aspect of Shen Congwen's eco-awareness. In this paper, the following three levels : God that is nature, fitness between man and nature, beauty lies in nature, love and eternity, to summarize Shen Congwen's eco-awareness and the writing characteristics of eco-awareness.The second chapter focuses on harmony among human beings. The eco-awareness in Shen's writing is not only demonstrated in the relation between man and nature but also reflected on the harmony among human beings. In Shen Congwen's writings about the relationship between human beings, Shen expressed the harmonious eco-awareness between human beings and aesthetic philosophy. This chapter focuses on Bian Cheng, laden with the harmonious ecological beauty, the beauty of human nature as "Son of Nature", the harmonious relations between the sexes, to reflects unique thinking on human nature and history.Chapter three is about the harmony and hidden concern of man and society. Shen's writings embody an indomitable concern on history, man and society, also make another important aspect of Shen Congwen's eco-awareness: longing for the ideal society and the hidden of the problem brought by an imbalance. In other words, in Shen Congwen's writings about the relationship between human beings and society, all these reflect Shen's sharp sense of ecology and profound sense of anxiety, where ideal and imbalanced society are fully represented.The conclusion of this paper is that: from the three parts about man and nature, man and man, man and society in Shen's writing, all reflect a basic harmony for the pursuit of the modern eco-awareness and perceptions.
