A Study Of The Zhuangzi's Wuwei Thoughts

As very important representative figure in Taoism,Zhuangzi exerted great influence on chinese traditional culture. But there are much difficulty in subsequent research of Zhaungzi because of his obscure thoughts,random style of writing,much fable and contradional words .This paper want to investigate the thoughts of Zhuangzi from the angle of wuwei.The formal text is composed by five parts. In the first chapter this papre discussed research significance, research status, research methods and the innovation.In the second chapter, this papre discussed the wuwei thoughts of Laozi and Zhuangzi,and also analysed the evolution in wuwei thoughts from Laozi to Zhuangzi. In the third chapter ,this paper reviewed Zhuangzi's Wuwei thoughts in his human life thoughts from three angels: ideal personality,life dealing ,health protecting.In the fourth chapter, this paper reviewed Zhuangzi's wuwei thoughts in his social ideology thoughts from three angels : the real world,ideal society, monarch.In the fifth chapter this paper analysed the influence exered by Zhuangzi on after world by the example of Guoxiang and Huineng.as far as the Zhuangzi's wuwei thoughts be concerned,it is consisted of spiritual realm and outside behavior.The conclusion of this paper is that Zhuangzi's wuwei thoughts is not only a political ideology but also a human life ideology which has close relation to social ideology and the outside behavior of Zhuangzi's wuwei thoughts has unlimited and opening character.
