In recent years, with the Japan's internationalization as well as the cultural exchange's unceasing expansion of various countries, Japanese education (The essay refers to the non-mother tongue Japanese education) becomes a focus. Since 1972 Sino-Japanese diplomatic relation was normalized, all kinds of universities and the partial elementary and middle schools as well as the foreign language schools have opened Japanese Department or offered Japanese class. As a result, our country's Japanese education has developed constantly in the past several decades. In order to further enhance the level of Japanese language education and deepen the understanding of Japanese education and Japanese teaching methods, the essay carries on investigation and study on Japan Kyushu International High School.This essay is mainly composed of four parts. In the introduction part, first, it elaborates research necessity and the significance from Kyushu International High School's present situation. Meanwhile it elaborates theoretical value and the practical value of Japanese teaching through definition of Japanese teaching and analysis of tests in Japan high schools.The first part mainly introduces Kyushu International High School's Japanese teaching features through the observation of teaching conditions and introduction of its teaching ideas and the guiding principle for running a school.The second part analyzes teaching characteristics of listening, speaking, reading and writing by interview discussion and questionnaire survey. Moreover, it expounds the application of heuristic teaching methods in reading; the function of task-based teaching methods in listening and writing; the practice value of integrated learning course towards foreign students and their understanding of Japanese society.The third part explains Japanese teaching enlightenment to our country which is based on the research results. It is combined with China's national conditions and in view of its teaching method's characteristics.
