Across The Heavy Field

Zhang Xuedong is a new person in the literary world of Ning Xia province,Northwest China,in the beginning of the twentieth's century.Mo Yue,Ji Dongliang and Zhang Xuedoing are named as "Three New Trees"in the literary world of Ning Xia province.In recent years,many people pay attention to the writer groups of Ning Xia and gradually they find that the works of Zhang Xuedong have shown their own values.So many critics begin to find some characteristics of Northwest literature from Zhang's works.Critics have different opinions toward Zhnag's works.The author of this paper tries to find the significance of Zhang's works form his country narrative novels.This paper all together has four parts.In the first chapter,it illustrates the typical images of Zhang Xuedong's country narrative novels from the following aspects natural image, social image and myth image.In the second chapter,by deep analysing the magical fictions, the author discusses the ways Zhang Xuedoing used to achieve the cores of one novel. Chapter Three tries to discuss the glamours of Zhang's works that brought by the using of children's perspective.One thing worth mentioning is that the using of children's perspective have made the miserable novels more poetic.Chapter four discusses the deep implications in Zhang Xuedoing's country narrative novels.In other words,one the one hand,Zhang's novels reveal the general sufferings,on the other hand,his works also tells the readers that tender feelings of man kind still exist.
