Different from the occurrence and development of a strong feminist movement background of Western feminist theory, the Chinese feminist literary criticism has its own unique ideological background. Enlightenment concepts of humanism in the 1980s is an important ideological background of the rise of feminist literary criticism in China .In the early 90's, emergence of mass culture make drastic changes in the image of women of the social consciousness, which is China's Feminist Literary Criticism in the development of another incentive. Translation of foreign Feminist critical theory is the fuse of the Chinese feminist literary criticism.China's development of feminist literary criticism has gone through a process of feminism from the context of Western feminist to further development and to the prosperity and diversity, and its center discourse is constantly advancing with the time evolution.From the initial survival of women to look at the individual and re-structuring of female main in criticizing practice to criticizing the traditional culture of male standing with women,Feminist Literary Criticism in China has been the same as any other literary criticism into the academic, and recognize the distinctive characteristics of its own, as well as a number of problems and shortcomings under the prosperous and powerful, and demonstrates the value of its own orientation. With social development , we stand on a new level, looking at the women in the social life of today's position. Feminist Literary Criticism in China is gradually maturing, it has been found that the women's own experience and the characteristics of women in the pursuit of an independent personality and self-awareness stage of development, and toward multi-cultural perspective and an open forward.
