The Research On Wang Kaiyun's Learning Thoughts

Wang Kaiyun(1833-1916),styled Renqiu or Renfu,was born in Xiangtan of Hunan province.He is a famous scholar in late Qing dynasty.Because of enjoying longevity and having so many treatises,I have no ability to do a well-rounded examination to his thought.I chose his representative works——"Annotations to Gongyang' s The Spring and Autumn Annals'"and"Xiangjun Zhi"as the research objects,trying to learn his thought by learning his works,to learn world by learning his thought,then to realize the spirit of age by means of understanding Wang Kaiyun.Introduction describes the significance of the title,making a brief explanation of the reason to choose Wang Kaiyun as the research object.After that,I make a simple card of formal evaluations of Wang Kaiyun's thought.The first part is Wang Kaiyun's life experience,main to clarify his background.I make a brief introduction of why and how to embark on the study road,and his life experience,including political and educational practice.The second part is that by his Confucian Classics representative work"Annotations to Gongyang's'The Spring and Autumn Annals"as the research center,I transport Wang Kaiyun's thought of Confucian Classics from the"Yi Shi Guan","Da Yi Tong","YiXia Da Fang"and"San Shi Shuo",which are different from the traditional scholars. Wang Kaiyun studied the Confucian works by the concept of"implication coming from the history",but Wang Kaiyun's thougt also has bad factors.I will try my best to describe his characteristics and style,and to make a relatively objective assessment.The third part is"Xiangjun Zhi"and Wang Kaiyun's historical thought.This paper discusses"Xiangjun Zhi"codification and style,and as Guo Songtao brother's book——"Xiangjun Zhi PingYi"for the basement,I make a object comment on the contents,historical facts of"Xiangjun Zhi",and to do a simple extraction of historical thought embodied in this book,thinking that their history thought including thoughts of"writing according facts"and"caring people".
