Study On The Same Expression Of Mencius

Mr.Liao Qiuzhong 80 in the mid-2Oth century,first proposed the term of "refer to the same" which based on the theory of auaphora from the West,he also applied this term to the analysis of modem Chinese,then,a large number of relevant theory researchers appeared,this theory researched depply and has broad research perspective,"refer to the same" is still the focus of discussion today,but the researchers limited in the aspects of modem Chinese basically.Through the investigation,the material of same expression of "Mencius"is more rich than the works of the previous period and the same period,and some refer to the same expression is not found in modem Chinese,based on this,this paper intend to apply related theory of "refer to the same" to the exhaustive analysis of the same expression in "Mencius" which is the representative work of Warring States period,we hope that this can bring slight benefit to the analysis of ancient Chinese,and can understand the same or differention in the use of "refer to the same" in the ancient Chinese and modern Chinese.The article is divided into three major parts:the first part is the introduction,the second part which from second to the fourth chapter is the main body of this article,the third part is the conclusion.The first chapter introduced the reason of choosing this title,research on "refer to the same",the definition of "refer to the same",the theory and methods and version which in the course of writting.The second chapter is direct anaphora,we divided it into noun,zero and pronoun "refer to the same" according to the nature of anaphora.In every types,we describe and analyse them according to the inter-sentence,outer-sentence and outer-paragraph.The third chapter is indirect anaphora,this type was divided into associative,partial and wholly"refer to the same".The fourth chapter is refer to the same of cataphora.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarize the full text.
