A Research Of The Structure On Shostakovich's First Sonata For The Piano

Shostakovich is one of the most outstanding representative figures in Soviet Union musical field in twentieth century,he was the first composer to berecognized by the Soviet Union.He is an excellent pianist and composer.He creates a lot of music works,including Symphony,Concerto, Prelude and Fugue,chamber music,opera,ballet,film music,drama,music,chorus,and song. Among them,the piano music of creation is the beginning for Shostakovich as a great composer as a long career of twentieth century.The First Sonata for the Piano is created in 1926 and this is Expressionism with a color and passion of music,successfully conveyed the composer created a relatively "conservative" of thhe First Sonata for the Piano,desire to broaden his horizons,to use information of more and modern musical language and marks the official beginning of Shostakovich music road of creation--"Boom Period".Based on the analysis of molody,tonality, musical form and harmony in the First Sonata for the Piano,through which the the particular style of Shostakovich's works is summarized,this thesis is aimed at providing bases for the study of Shostakovich's works and laying the firm foundation in future musical teaching and researching.This thesis consisits of two chapters.Chapter One expounds Shostakovich's life experience and the creative process and background of the First Sonata for the Piano.Chapter Two analyzes the ontology of music from the aspects of melody,tonality,total structure and harmony,and from the analysis in summarized content Shostakovich's creative style in the "Boom Period".
