Study On The Causal Conjunction Which Before Ancient Times

The causal conjunction which before ancient times is one important language phenomenon, scholars have done some research,relatively speaking,but the research isn't enougho We should study the usual circumstance,cohesive function,formation course of causal conjunction deeply. Based on the research of previous researchers,combined with quantitative statistics,qualitative analysis,synchronic description and diachronie investigation,this paper intend to research the causal conjunction which before ancient times deeply.The whole paper includes seven chapters, mort than 33,000 words as follows:1.Discuss and define the scope of causal conjunctions before ancient times,there are fourteen,the conjunction that express reason include "yi(用)","wei(惟)","wei(为)","yin(因)","you(由)", "yuan(缘)";the conjunction that express result include "yong(用)","yi(以)","gu(故)","si(肆)","shiyong(是用)","shiyi(是以)","shigu(是故)".2.We investigate the diachronic distribution of conjunction before ancient times according to Shang Dynasty,Western Zhou Dynasty,the Warring States,Qin and Hart period,the conjunction before ancient times experienced the course of development which from less to more and more to less.3.Investigate the usual circumastance of the conjunction before ancient times.There are some used lonely,used coupled,successive application and indiscriminate application,including lone use of conjunction which express reason and result,paired use which between conjunction and conjunction or between conjunction and adverb.4.Study the semantic and pragmatic which reflected by the conjunction which before ancient times and collocation form.The semantic relationship includes cause and effect,to act in a causal and causal inference,the formated pattern includes the sentence of explain the reason and Ji Xiao,the focus of information lies in the sentence that express the reason and result.5.Study the cohesion function of conjunction before ancient times,including connecting connecting clause complex sentence,complex sentence,sentence group,paragraphs and so on.6.Study the formation course of conjunction before ancient times,and reveal the conditions and mechanism of grammatication in ancient Chinese. 7.Discuss the controversial issues of association word befor ancient times to explain the basis for defining the scope of conjunctions in other way.
