| Among those foreign countries which are doing well in Chinese teaching, Thailand is a fast-developing one,with its focus on primary and high schools. According to surveys,the already-large population in Chinese learning is still growing fastly.Anyhow,to keep up the pace of making the students' acquisition more scientific and thus easily,we are still short of enough research in teaching methods. This thesis is developed on the bases of the research into Experiential Teaching Method,as well as some teaching experience in Thailand.On the level of theory analysis,this paper will introduce the characters of Experiential Teaching Method.We recommend making use of the Task-based Method, putting the classroom focus on experiential activities.As a result,students may call out more interest in Chinese learning.On the level of practice analysis,we choose two classes as model,and carry out the Experiential Teaching Method in their Chinese class.Through a period of research, we find it is helpful for Thai student in their Chinese acquisition,especially in activating their motivation and student-teacher communication.What's more,we also study the general situation of Chinese teaching in Thai public schools,trying to find the possibilities of popularizing the Method.We hope this paper may shed a bright light on Thai Chinese teaching,especially in their use of the textbook Experiencing Chinese. |
