The thesis discusses about On Levelling All Thing(s《齐物论》), A Happy Excursion(《逍遥游》) and the view on Life and Death of Chuang Tze through the concept of"Hua(化)". First of all, it researches the original meaning of"Hua"and come to the conclusion that the concept of"Hua"'s original meaning is"change the surface but no real change", by which we interprete the philosophy of Chuang Tze.In the Universal Changing(大化),"Hua"is existent state of all things, the Universal Changing of all things which means that the things will exist forever. So the person who give up selfish will insight the things on the view of"Hua", and he recognized that all things are levelling and confusing. Just because of the levelling all Things, The valuation of them will be equal. So this is the Universal Changing and"On Levelling All Things"of Chuang Tze.The Universal Changing is the natural law of the universe. The life should involve in it, so that the law of the universe internalizated into life as an ideal law of living, the life which involved in the Universal Changing positively would be"A Happy Excursion". The concept of freedom in Chuang Tze includes two levels at least, and both of them are about spirit and life. The freedom of spirit means one's soul fit the Universal Changing and laissez-faire life. The freedom of life means one is silenced in the world and adapted to all the things. Of course, one has to do his best to defend the character of the independent. So this is the Universal Changing and"A Happy Excursion"of Chuang Tze.Holding the view of levelling all things also means that there is no distinction between live and die, and the most happy excursion is beyond life and death. Bases on the concept of"Hua", Chuang Tze realizes that there is no live or die but only changes in the world. He drives the fear of death away and we can insight how he loves and cherishes life.
