From the current studies, Chinese scholars' researches on Fu are still in its early stage, when a Western Subjective Well-being Scale is still the main tool to test for happiness sense in China. This study seeks to establish a psychological structure scale of Chinese people's Fu starting completely from indigenization and to preliminarily explore and measure people's psychological structures of Fu in contemporary China, based on Chinese traditional folk "Five Fu". This study lasted for one year. After the scale was revised and tested, it finally formed as a psychological structure scale of Chinese people's Fu composed of four dimensions, i.e. family Fu, external Fu, personal Fu and personality Fu, and 18 items. The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the scale has good construct validity. In addition, the scale has high internal consistency reliability. It's shown from the measurement results that there are significant differences on Chinese people in the four dimensions of "Fu". Apart from the external Fu, the total score and the scores of other dimensions are higher than the midpoint of the questionnaire. From the average score of dimensions, the average score of family Fu measured in all persons is the highest. It shows that the family Fu is the most important in Chinese people's views of "Fu".These demographic variables such as age, sex, educational level, income, marital status, etc affect Chinese people's views of "Fu" in different dimensions. Income and marital status affect most whereas there are significant differences on the dimensions of external Fu to all the demographic variables, which also show that people under different circumstances have different views on the external aspects of "Fu" such as wealth, fortune of Fu, appearances of Fu, etc. From the measurement results of this study, Chinese people's psychological structure of Fu includes the aspects of personality development, self-fulfillment, personal health, material life, etc. It's the most important that it emphasizes one's external environment, i.e. family atmosphere, filial piety, children's growth, and other external factors. That is lacking in western studies but also the focus of this study.
