The researches of the subjective quantities and the complex sentences of Modern Chinese are always two important fields in the study of the Chinese grammar, which have come up with fruitful results. However, combining the two fields to make a comprehensive and in-depth study is still a weak link of the study. Taking the weak link as a breakthrough point, this article try to make a more comprehensive and stereoscopic research of the complex sentences' subjective quantities. This article not only researches the subjective quantity characteristics of one type of sentence, but also researches the similar formats of the same type of complex sentence for comparison. This article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, outlining the predecessors' research achievements and introduces the research contents, research ideas, research methods and corpus sources, etc. The second chapter is about the research of the subjective quantity in the progressive complex sentences, mainly investigates the patterns of "Budan A, erqie B", "Shangqie A, hekuang B" and "Budanbu A, fan'er B". The third chapter is about the research of the subjective quantity in the selective complex sentences, mainly investigates the subjective quantity of "Yuqi A,buru B" and "Ningke A,yebu B" two patterns of "Yiding" selective complex sentences. The fourth chapter is about the research of the subjective quantity in the hypothesis complex sentences, mainly investigates the subjective quantity's characteristics and rules of "Ruguo A, jiu B" ? "Zai A, ye B" ? "Jishi A, ye B" three patterns of hypothesis complex sentences. The fifth chapter is about the research of the subjective quantity in the conditional complex sentences, mainly investigates the subjective quantity of the "Zhiyao A, jiu B" and "Zhiyou A,cai B" two patterns of conditional complex sentences, and this chapter also investigates the unconditional sentences 'subjective quantity, which is the "Wulun A, dou B" pattern. The sixth chapter is a brief description about subjective quantity of the coordinate complex sentences and he transitional complex sentences.By analyzing and comparing all the complex sentences' subjective quantity, this article came to their common rule: on the strength of the subjectivity, when the subjective magnitude is in accordance with the objective level, the subjectivity is weak; When there is no scale to objective things, the speaker forms his subjective magnitude through the method of "Renwei Fuxu", the subjectivity is stronger; When the subjective magnitude is in contrast to the objective level, the subjectivity is the strongest. The subjective 's degree of the extreme sentences is stronger than the average sentences.Scale of subjective quantity that this paper works on is much larger than previous researches done by predecessors, for it investigates not only the subjective quantity with number words, but also ones without number words. This article studies complex sentences from the aspect of subjective quantity. Thus, it combines the research of the complex sentences with the subjective quantity theory. In this way, this paper makes profound research not only in the subjective quantity, but also in complex sentences. At the same time, the subjective quantity rules that this article concluded has acertain research significance in correcting the wrong sentences and improving the effect of expression.
