The study,by choosing 700 senior high students of Guizhou Province,using SCL-90,Simple Coping Style Questionnaire (CSQ),Adolescents Life Events Scale(ASLEC) and students self-efficacy questionnaire as measuring tools.The results showed as follows:1,The mental health status of senior high students is lower. SCL-90 total score and each factor score was significantly higher than the national norm,psychological symptoms positive rate was 75%,moderate abnormalities are 214,accounting for 38.7%of the total number.The major psychological problems of students are compulsory,hostility,depression,anxiety and so on.In terms of gender,ethnicity,academic,arts or science or art,the host families and the different class,students have different levels of differences in mental health.2,The coping styles of senior high students below the norm, there are 88.4%of the senior students choose a positive response,at the same time 67.7%of students of choose negative coping styles.Students in different gender,ethnicity, academic performance and classes are not significantly different in coping style and life event scores.3,SCL-90 total score and each factor score have different correlations with life events,coping style and academic self-efficacy.Among them there are negatively correlated between mental health and positive coping styles and self-efficacy;significant negatively correlated between self-efficacy and negative coping styles,but significant positive correlated toward positive coping styles;there are significant positive correlated between SCL-90 total score and each factor score and negative coping styles;there is positive correlated between SCL-90 total score and each factor of life events.4,Total mental health effects of a significant regression of the variables as follows:negative coping styles,studying pressure,learning ability,positive coping styles, interpersonal and punish.Which deal with learning ability and positive scores on the mental health effects constitute a negative return,and negative coping styles,studying pressure,interpersonal and punish on the mental health effects of total return is constituted.
