Coping efficacy refers to the confidence that individuals can succeed in coping with passion, the expansion and extension of individual's coping style as well as self-efficacy in special fields. The individuals with high efficiency can adopt positive coping styles and effective coping strategies, which can alleviate the emotional and physical discomfort caused by stress,so as to maintain both physical and mental health. While the individuals with low efficacy are inclined to adopt negative coping styles, they are unable to cope with emotional and physical discomfort caused by stress, which will harm their physical and mental health.High school students are in the stage of unbalanced development of body and mind, and they will experience the important event of the college entrance examination.Consequently, lack of experience in coping with frustration is detrimental to deal with setbacks, and may even lead to depression, anxiety, and poor adaptation to psychological problems. In the previous study, there were few literatures on the coping efficacy of high school students based on the dual factor model of mental health, and there is no intervention for the coping efficacy of high school students. This study is to research high school students under the perspective of psychological health dual factor model. In response to the relationship between coping efficacy and mental health,a group of junior high school students with low coping efficacy are selected to conduct group counseling intervention to verify the effectiveness of the team design scheme designed by the researchers. The aim is to explore ways to improve the coping efficacy of high school students and improve their psychological condition. This paper consists of two studies. The first study demonstrates the investigation of the coping efficacy and mental health of 557 senior middle school students in No.36 Middle School of Zhengzhou through coping efficacy scale, adolescents' behavior self-renewal scale, life satisfaction scale, and positive emotion as well as negative emotion scale, which explores the relationship between coping efficacy and mental health of high school students and provide empirical basis for further intervention research. In the second study,25 students are selected as the experimental group, while 25 students are as the control group. The study implements seven units of group counseling to improve the coping efficiency of the experimental group,so as to verify the effectiveness of the group counseling program designed for the three dimensions of coping effectiveness. This paper comes to these conclusions:1)The coping efficacy of senior high school students performs well in general, but there is no difference in coping efficacy among different genders.2)The classification of four mental states in the dual-factor model of mental health is suitable for senior high school students, and there are significant differences in coping efficacy among the four mental states of high school students, and the coping efficacy of"perfectly healthy people" and its three dimensions(degree of self-confidence);The level of cognition and competence was significantly higher than that of "susceptible person",and the coping efficacy, cognitive level and competence of "symptomatic but satisfied person" were significantly higher than that of "completely morbid person".There was no significant difference in the degree of confidence between the "symptomatic but satisfied" and "completely sick",and the "perfectly healthy" had a higher level of coping efficacy.3)Coping efficacy of senior high school students was positively correlated with the positive indicators(life satisfaction, positive emotion)of the dual factor model of mental health. There was a significant negative correlation between coping efficacy and negative indicators(negative emotion, internalized problems including depression and anxiety, body complaints, withdrawal, externalization including aggressive behavior, problem behavior)in high school students' coping efficacy model.4)The group counseling program is reasonable and effective.Group counseling based on three dimensions of coping efficacy can significantly improve coping efficacy of senior high school students and improve mental health of high school students.
