Research purpose: Mental health education course has developed well in foreign countries, in contrary the course in China is not yet as mature as foreign institutional framework,at present just in the exploration period. In recent years, more and more schools add mental health education classes into required courses, it shows that the mental health attract more and more attention.Refer to the discussion of domestic course,this article make a design about the level of public high school students’ mental health and active coping styles to explore the possibility of mental health education curriculum and promotion.Research method: Method1, a questionnaire survey, investigation and analysis of the level of esenior high school freshman’s mental health and coping style, then verify the correlation between mental health and coping style. Method2,This study selected four classes in senior high school freshman for a control group and three experimental groups, which the control group without intervention, experimental group A mental health education courses last half a month, experimental group B last one-month, three-month intervention in the experimental group C, on the two ends there is a measurement through the "mental Health diagnosis list" and" simplified coping style scale" which is called SCSS. Analysis the influence through the statistical results for mental health and coping style, and explore the effectiveness of mental health education curriculumResearch results:From the investigation and analysis of the level of esenior high school freshman’s mental health and coping style, the results found that high school students mental health stand good, and there isn’t significantly difference between boys and girls; there is correlation between senior high school freshman mental health and Negative coping styles including People anxiety, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, terrorist tendencies, impulsive tendencies.Through the difference before intervention and after intervention,we can see:Mental health education programs can enhance student’s mental health, the longer the intervention effect more clearly;Mental health education programs can improve student’s coping styles, especially in reducing students’ negative coping style.This study shows, mental the design of health education curriculum make a certain role to enhance the level of mental health and improve the coping styles, after further revision should be popularized.
