China-Korea political relation is a typical representative in history of China diplomatic relation, which vaned from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. Such dependent relation obviously bears some politician features. As China feudal dynasty vacillated, China-Korea relation accordingly changes. From 1592 to 1638, Qing-Korea relation changes more frequently than before, which exhibited great variation in the 17th century. In the period of late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty war influenced Qing-Korea relation, especially political relation, deeply. Qing-Korea political relation evolved with war as its central factor, which influenced political relation on every stage. War, by which Qing Dynasty broke political format in Liaodong area, gradually changed the Qing-Korea relation, and strengthened the resulted bilateral relation as well. Eventually, Korea changed itself from a dependent country of Ming Dynasty into a dependent one of Qing Dynasty. Korea admitted Qing Dynasty as her suzerain country, though in the conquering process Korea still honored Confucian value which demanded people to worship the monarch of Ming Dynasty and resist alien aggression.This thesis analyzes evolvement of Qing-Korea political relation from 1592 to 1638, especially discusses the great and decisive influence of war upon political relation between countries in a chronologically way. A clear comprehension and discussion of war will offer readers a clear understanding of the evolvement of Qing-Korea political relation from 1592 to 1638. Qing-Korea relation of Qing Dynasty is characterized by the richness of its connotation, complexity of relation variation and uniqueness of its features. The thesis conducts a rational analysis on the evolvement of Qing-Korea political relation by taking historical data as its basis, historical methodology as analyzing method, and scholarship home and abroad as reference, which synthetically covers adjustment of domestic and diplomatic policy in period of late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynast, the evolvement of Qing-Korea political relation and according influential factors of all kinds. By putting Qing-Korea political relation in a specific historical environment and discussing the uniqueness of Qing-Korea in the period of late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, this research is helpful in revealing the regularity of the evolvement of Qing-Korea political relation behind historical phenomena from 1592 to 1638.
