The Establishment And Development Of The United States Joint Chiefs Of Staff (1942-1947)

Although United States defeated the Spanish colonial empire in Spanish-American War in 1899, it did not win the war and denied the U.S. military's own internal shortcomings, one of which is particularly important to the war, lack of coordination between the Navy and the army, leading to the two armies fighting for their own governance. Throughout the 20th century, the U.S. military has conducted two rounds of a "unified operational command system" in practice. For the first time, it is Joint Board. Since its creation to the end, the Committee is an advisory body to the Commission. It is also a minimal role in the United States military history. After Pearl Harbor incident, the United States entered the war as allies, but this time the situation of the U.S. military did not experience any differences as the establishment of Joint Board during the two-wars.
