Joint phrase is a syntactic structure prevalent in the human language, and alsothe use of an extremely wide range of syntactic structure. As we all know, in the80sof the last century, the mainstream of Chinese grammar is traditional grammar,traditional grammar that only words can act as a sentence elements, so the finishedparts of speech directly speak sentence elements, the phrase has no place, and alsoneglected, thus the specifically research on phrase is almost out of the question. Untilafter Zhu Dexi grammar handouts, published in1982, the phrase was only really payattention to it, and had a syntax based status. Meanwhile, in addition to the generalanalysis and description in the writings of modern Chinese General Theory, theresearch on joint phrase gradually toward the thematic direction of development. Thispaper is the classification presented the research on Chinese joint phrase since the1980s, combing the academic development context of joint phrase, as well as theevaluation of the pros and cons of existing research results.
