The simulacra theory becomes thought symbol of Jean Baudrillard in post-modernism domain that establishing a new school.Based on Baudrillard's theory works, this paper takes criticism of the consumer society as the beginning, and following the increasing role of media, " consumption" to become the legal foundation of modern society in order to sign code for the operation of the media, then reveals the symbol of rule and its operation in modern society, hence to be as a hyper-realistic simulacra with strong technical support of the media, and showing a modern society implosion, simulation and hyperreality three-in-one post-modern image for us.The introduction primarily makes a brief explanation about simulacra theory in domestic and foreign research and generalizes its significance.The first chapter to be like for the ground of simulacra theory, analyzes the consumer society's criticism carefully. As the starting point to objects, Baudrillard has defined the meaning of consumption, pointed out the code of the control characteristics, the code is works for ruling class's privilege, he regarded the code as a "Keystone Rule", also focused on symbols of the critique of political economy in consumer society, started a code object to the rule of the struggle about a symbolic name of the exchange implemented.The second chapter primarily explains as the meaning and order. With the proliferation of information and advertisement, the medium becomes the tool of simulacra, Baudrillard thought we enter one world which duplicates through the code, at this time the border with world and symbol no longer exists, this is symbolic of the "implosion", created a "hyperreality" world. Simulacrum theory developed into a theory gradually that media-led, and has became the essence of the classical theory for Baudrillard.The third chapter analyzes the break for Baudrillard's simulacra theory and the modern, from real vanishing to subject vanishing, to modernity own vanishing again, the modernity has been replaced by post-modern era of simulacra, highlights the characteristics of post-modernity, so far simulacra theory to be developed to a higher realm, reflected a complex and ever-changing social conditions of the times, have far-reaching practical significance.Nevertheless Baudrillard's simulacra theory is invaluable in beginning to comprehend the impact of new communication forms on society. He has introduced a language-based analysis of new kinds of social experience. For the critical theorists, Baudrillard represents the beginning of a line of thought, one that is open to development and refinement by others.
