| The paper studies the monosyllabic verbal synonym in YanShiJiaXun. By means of induction, validation, quantitative analysis combined with qualitative analysis, the ascertain of synonymous groups, common sememe, and the difference between them are discussed. It is hoped that there will be some contributions to the studies of vocabularies in YanShiJiaXun, Chinese Vocabularies in Southern and Northern Dynasties and the whole Chinese vocabulary system.The paper consists of five parts:In the first part, the studies on Chinese Synonyms were described, including rearch situation and some important issues and main points in it.In the second part, the research on only one book, the life of yanzhiTui, YanShiJiaXun and its Corpus value and the research situation of vocabularies about it were described.The third part, the studies on the ascertain of monosyllabic verb synonyms was described, including embodying scope, display format, and the general situation of monosyllabic verb synonyms in YanShiJiaXun.In the fourth part, with the selecting of 18 groups of monosyllabic verb synonyms, the monosyllabic verb synonyms in YanShiJiaXun was comprehensively discriminated in three aspects-meaning, character and usage.In the fifth part, a summary about this paper was given. |
