Based on the field work in the area of the Chakhar local dialect,an overall description of interjections related to domestic animals is made in the present thasis.More specificly,structural,morphological,and syntactic features,as well as origins and development of the interjections are described in the work. The thesis is composed of Introduction,Chapter One,Chapter Two,Chapter Three,Conclusion,Appendices,and postscript.Introduction includes general remarks of interjections,research histoty,aim and significance of the research work,and research methods and steps.In Chapter One,the interjections related to domestic animals in the Chakhar local dialect are classified into two groups according to breeds of domestic animals:a) interjections directed at the five breeds domestic animals; b)interjections directed at other domestic animals.General features of those interjections are introduced at the same time.Chapter Two includes the following contends:structural,morphological, and syntactic features of the interjections related to domestic animals in the Chakhar local dialect.Chapter Three is a breaf introduction to origins and development of some interjections related to domestic animals in the Chakhar local dialect.The present author regards that the interjections are originated from imitatives, nominal and verbial roots,and some other interjections used in daily life.At the same time,quite a number of interjections related to domestic animals in the Chakhar local dialect are loanwords mainly borrowed from Chinese.Conclusion is a summary of contends in the thesis,elaborating author's basic points of view.
