Yellow Hat Sect of Tibetan Buddhism Temple is the historical testimony of prevailing of Buddhist and memorial places of Mongolia religious culture . Temple architecture was a spectacular landscape in Mongolia, the legends about the temple being widely circulated among the people until now at legends. This paper studies the temple legend of Inner Mongolia, classify the temple legends, analysis the function and relationship between the temples legend, language, ceremony and history, further discusses the relationship between temples legends and state power.This paper made up of introduction, body (four chapters), and conclusion, reference four parts. in the introduction ,author made an exposition of propositional meaning, research status , purposes and methods etc. The first chapter, classified the temples legend according to the content. The second chapter mainly analysis the relationship between temples legend, language, ceremony and history. The third chapter mainly discusses the function of temples legend that explaining, making social norms and resolving conflicts .In the fourth chapter mainly discusses the relationship between temples legends and state power. The conclusion, briefly summarize the main points of the paper.
