Since the 1980 s,with the loosening of the national religious policy,folk beliefs began to revive,which was accompanied by the reconstruction of a large number of rural temples,such as the reconstruction of feishan temple in jingzhou.In jingzhou feishan temple,Yang zaisi was the chief of chenghuizhou shitong in the fifth dynasty of the late tang dynasties.Jingzhou feishan temple was originally built on baoding at the top of feishan,and then moved to the foot of feishan after several changes,which is the current location of feishan temple.In the 1950 s to 1960 s,feishan temple was destroyed because of the political factors.In the 1980 s,national religious policy was relaxed and folk beliefs were revived.In this context,feishan temple in jingzhou was rebuilt.Based on the literature and oral materials,this paper makes a historical analysis of the reconstruction and survival of feishan temple in jingzhou.On this basis,it analyzes the reasons forthe reconstruction of jingzhou feishan temple and the significance of reconstruction.This paper aims to explore the complex reasons for the revival of folk beliefs through the analysis of such a micro case.In this paper,the production theory of Henry lefebvre space is used to analyze the reconstruction of feishan temple.Based on the description and analysis of the reconstruction process,the production of temple material space and the relations in the space,it is concluded the reconstruction of feishan temple in the contemporary context which is caused by many factors.The inheritance of belief habituation and the existence of belief demand are the internal mechanism for the revival of folk beliefs and the internal driving factor for the reconstruction of temples.In addition to the internal dynamic factors,the reconstruction and survival of feishan temple are also influenced by the external factors such as state power,folk belief survival strategy,local clan power and ethnic identity.In the context of the new era,the reconstruction of faith space has important social significance,which includes the social functions of folk beliefs,such as meeting people's psychological needs,promoting social integration,promoting the expansion of interpersonal networks,and achieving group identity.At the same time,as a community public space,the temple has also become a medium for local governments to develop tourism economy and communicate regional connections.Moreover revival in the context of age under the action of the folk belief in the power of the value and meaning is endowed with new,It has become a kind of public culture accepted by the country.By virtue of the path of intangible cultural heritage,it has become the folk belief of social public culture,which has expanded its influence to a certain extent and deepened the local people's regional cultural identity.
