| Research background Nowadays, our country is in an era of reform and open policy. The minds of people are struck by all kinds of things, such as the change in the structure of society, adjustment of benefit distribution, rapid expansion of information and the pace of life etc. College student are the most active and sensitive people in the society, they will become aware of this change firstly. Because of facing so much challenges, the college students have more psychological pressure, and the of psychological problems of them have become serious. The 21st century needs people with both physical and psychological health, and the competition in the future is the psychological quality competition. To cultivate qualified persons in the new century, it is necessary to study college students' psychological health, strengthen psychological health education, and improve college students' comprehensive qualities.Research objective The purpose of this study was to explore the mental health state and the factors that affect it among the students in medical college. In order to help to take pertinent interventions and guide university health education, this study presents the mental health state of college students, finds out the existent problems and analyses the main affecting factors.Research method This study took the whole cluster sampling method and randomly selected 2296 college students in one grade. In addition this study made the online test by using dent basic information questionnaires, SCL-90 (Symptom Assessment Scale).Analysis was conducted for getting descriptive statistics, and used t-test, x~2 -test and so on with SPSS13.0 statistical software.Research results The detection rate of psychological barriers and demographic distribution characteristics, Among the investigated students, the prevalence of slight mental problems was10.1%.The rate of poor students is higher than that of the rich students, no single child is higher than single child, the disharmonious family is higher than the harmonious family, the one of having significant family disease history is higher than no family disease, one of often join the party than one of never join the party and all of that are statistical significant (P <0.05). Students psychological barrier detection rate is no statistical significant in others.The SCL-90 factor scores of college students were higher than the national constant model (P <0.05), and the difference has statistical significance. The highest problem in is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in the students main psychological problems. The second problem is the interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety.According to multiple logistic regression analysis,the main influence factors chose into the model are dangerous factors to psychology health,such as the poor ,family atmosphere,important matter and join the party.Conclusions and suggestions There is a high detection rate of psychological barriers among college students, various psychological problems occur and we should not be optimistic about college students' mental health state. The results suggest that more attention must be paid to mental health of college students; meanwhile, colleges should provide psychological guide and treatment by taking into the affecting factors for students with mental problems. |
