Shireet Khuree Zhasake Lama banner was the earliest Lama banner which was set up in Vassal State Mongolian area in Qing Dynasty, and it was the only Lama banner in the Mongolian area of South Desert. It was in a typical status not only in Mongolian League Banner system Qing Dynasty but also in all of the Lama banners. Research on religious historical issues of Shireet Khuree Lama banner is not only beneficial to studying this special historical phenomenon that Qing Dynasty set up Lama banner in Mongolian area, but also significant to the study on Mongolian League Banner system and the local administrative system. Thus we conduct a comprehensive analysis on the evolution of central government's policy to Tibetan Buddhism since Qing Dynasty,the Republic of China ,the founding of the PRC(People's Republic of China), and macroscopically grasp the important research value and theory meanings in studing the social and historical changesn of Khuree banner over the past 360 years,particularly for the Tibetan Buddhism's change of Mongolia area. However, because the historical materials are scattered, the academic circles have paid little attention to this problem.This paper primarily on the basis of the relevant documents, local historical documents, documents, Public praising materials, social survey reports, through a combination of historical, religional, national study of methods, mades a fair and objective academic discussion on the history of changes of Shireet Khuree Lama banner as well as the current situation of religion in Khuree since the founding of People's Republic of China.This paper consists of preface, body, conclusion and bibliography, etc, having totally more than forty thousand words. The preface briefly introduces the purpose and the meanings of the choice of the subject, related research situation, research methodology and innovation. The body is composed of three parts. Part I discusses that the government in Qing Dynasty set the Shireet Khuree Zhasake Lama banner, its"politics and religion"system, and the former sixteen appointed Zhasake Da Lama. Part II discusses the changes of mongolian polity pattern in late Qing Dynasty and early Republican, implementation of separation of religion from politics's administration model, and the evolution of the administrative divisions in Khuree banner during the Republic of China . Part III discusses the national religious policy of early PRC, Khuree banner at the very moment, destruction to monasteries and the monastery during Cultural Revolution and with the help of The Communist Party, the restoration of the monasteries after the Reform and open. At the same time, this paper carries out an all-sided inspection to current lama structure, economic situation and the main religious activities. Finally, we sums up all the substance and the main arguments of this paper .
