Job burnout is a kind of syndrome which is formed in the individual for long time working pressure. Now days, it has aroused general interest in psychology. Job burnout can influence the people's health and decline the performance of work. Because doctors shoulder the dual responsibilities and pressures from working and family, their job burnouts are more. The present study aimed to investigate the condition of the doctors ' job burnout and the relation among job burnout, self-esteem and social support so that we can set the basis and guidance to improve the doctors' life, working quality and the health level.Based on the reviews of the intension and antecedents of job burnout, self-esteem and social support, 400 doctors were surveyed by questionnaires so as to see the condition of the doctors ' burnout and explore relation of job burnout, self-esteem and social support. The results showed that:1. The job burnout's level of doctors in the different hospital is no significant differences.2. There is significant differences among the doctors from different department and different salary.3. Doctors' self-esteem had a significant negative correlation with job burnout.4. Social support from different sources had a significant correlation with one or more styles of the doctors' job burnout.5. Self-esteem and social support had a significant negative forecast function to the job burnout. Self-esteem did not play a mediating role between social support and job burnout.
