Objective:1. Use confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) on the structure of the adolescent students family Satisfaction scale (ASFSS) after exploration analysis, as simple as possible on the scale, and reliability and validity. 2. Analyze difference about adolescent students family satisfaction under different factors, explore it association with students life satisfaction and life events, confirm assumptions theory. Methods:Selected 1500 samples by randomly cluster in Sichuan and Chongqing province, using a general demographic questionnaire, adolescent self-rating life events check-list (ASLEC), adolescent students life satisfaction (ASLS) and the adolescent students family satisfaction scale (ASFSS) to cross-sectional survey. Retest 150 samples after two weeks. Explore the structure of ASFSS with confirmatory factor analysis; framed evaluation structure of student family satisfaction on basis of statistical results and the theoretical idea. Test scales'construct validity, criterion-related validation; Cronbach'sαcoefficient, internal consistency coefficient and retest correlation coefficient. Study general demographic factors, life events and life satisfaction impact on adolescent students'family satisfaction. Identify difference under influence factors; investigate the relationship about students'family satisfaction, life satisfaction and life events.Results:1. Established structure of students'family satisfaction including of 23 items and three factors by confirmatory factor analysis. 2. Reliability testing: scale and three factors of Cronbach,sαcoefficient were 0.935, 0.780, 0.866, 0.913, scale's internal consistency coefficient less than original scale, test-retest correlation coefficient of 0.671-0.823. 3. Validity testing: result demonstrated Chi-square freedom ratio x2/f=4.625, goodness of fit index (GFI) =0.932, Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) =0.935, root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) =0.053. Criterion-related validity demonstrated that ASFSS significantly related with family factor of ASLSS. 4. Demographic factors such as gender, parental level of education, family economic situation and the types of schools impacted on adolescent students'family satisfaction. About family satisfaction, girls evaluated more than boys, parents of students with higher education more than secondary education, university students was higher than secondary school students, important school than secondary school students, there were statistical significantly differences. Life satisfaction, as well as life events affected students'family satisfaction: life satisfaction positively related with family satisfaction; bad interpersonal, punishment and other life events were negative correlation. Students'life events affected life satisfaction, and farther affected family satisfaction. Conclusion : 1. Improved and confirmed theory and structure reasonably on ASFSS. 2. ASFSS are ideal scale with reliability and validity, results demonstrate reasonable; measurement's indicators have reached the requirement. 3. Main demographic factors including gender, parental level of education, family economic situation and the type of school impact on family satisfaction. 4. Life satisfaction and events were significantly correlated with adolescent students, family satisfaction.
