Folk Beliefs And Civil Society In Modern Suiyuan Areas

Modern Suiyuan areas,the mainland people,especially a large number of Shanxi people moved into,then monte became the han,mongolian,manchu and other multi-ethnic mixed,mainly in the areas of the han nationality. Thus the temple and the gods of the traditional Chinese society flooded the daily life of Suiyuan people. As their spiritual support of pursuing peace,health and wealth,and the spiritual support was important and Indispensable. The traditional temple fair and match of business organization which were accompanied by the gods worship brought an important opportunity for entertainment and communication to Suiyuan people. And when the spirit of the traditional society penetrated into the daily life of Suiyuan people,it also witnessed and influenced the formation and change of the Suiyuan society. In fact,this process also took suiyuan into the Chinese traditional society gradually.This article is divided into three part,which are preamble,text and conclusion. In the preamble,first of all,introduces the concept and research situation of the "Suiyuan" and "folk beliefs",then show the research value of the article. The body is divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the basic characteristics of the Suiyuan temple,which is represented by the Guisui temple.and the modern society of Suiyuan,which is showed by the various temple landscape. At the same time,a broad range of Suiyuan,the different regions,different customs, beliefs and society to show the differences. Chapter two introduces in modern Suiyuan,folk beliefs on people's daily life. Worship of day-to-day, traditional temple fair,which bronght the people entertainment, business and assembly,and then the society temple ,which was a symbol of divine right,standardized and integrated the Grass-roots community. All of these shou us a modern Suiyuan society,the gods and the stories behind those,managed the livelihood and well-being of the people,and brought the enrichment and comfort material and spiritual. Chapter three introduces that society background,which was full of folk-beliefs and prosperous business,in some important business cities just like Guisui and Baotou,the bustling match of business organization. Singing and drinking,to thank the gods,promoting the development of commerce and public entertainment. Also,with the atmosphere tended to show off and comparison,that broght a huge negative impact. Chapter four introduces ,in Late Qing Dynasty and Early Republican China,the folk beliefs gradually declined. The political chaos,organized crime,as well as the series of famine,comnined with a new era of advanced science and social thought,the two efforts has led to the evolution of this social phenomenon. The last part is the conclusion,and sum up the text.
