With the globalization process and the raise of international economist's level, people's consumer demand has been changed a lot, now, people's demand of cultural products and cultural services is increasing, and the international cultural trade is a scene of prosperity too. Nowadays, the cultural trade has become an important part of international trade. The cultural values and cultural "voice" contained in the cultural trade make it not only has the function of economic, but also becomes a important Indicator of comprehensive national strength. The strategic of cultural trade is increasingly important in a country's international confrontation and survival.A number of countries as China, although rich in cultural resources, and has a number of production with culture and fine taste, encounters a lot of trade barriers in the international cultural market, still in the awkward situation of trade deficit. This paper attempts to analyze the root causes of cultural barriers in the international cultural trade, and try to give some advices.This article is divided into five main parts, firstly, it gives the proposition of the article, and makes the studying ideas and methods on the basis of related research, and also gives the article structure. Secondly, gives some common barriers in the international culture trade, such as cultural barriers, the consumer barriers, the strong cultural barriers, the policy barriers, the technology and talents barriers and so on.The third part e analyzes the most fundamental reasons of cultural trade barriers, sums up three most important reasons: the cultural differences, the cultural awareness, as well as the interests of security and the market.The fourth part, through the analysis of reasons and performances of trade barriers, it tries to give some suggestions on how to develop the cultural industries, prevent the barriers, and achieve the smooth conduct of trade and cultural specific response. Finally, a summary of this article and recommends the further study.This paper breaks the surface of cultural deficit and trade barriers to explore the root causes of barriers and gives some solutions. The article has some reference value on China's cultural trade.
