In the history of the Ci's development, the Wanyue and Haofang category stand for two humanoriented aesthetic interest. They were taken from the meaning of nature and personnel, then applied to literary criticism. Originally, Wanyue was used for describing human's condescending attitude, and later it was used in literary theories, representing the implicit style of literaty works. At first, Haofang was applied to describe people's unconstrained character, as the same as Wanyue, and then was used in literary theories, representing writing works in a more infomal way. However,in the poetry criticism, they have not become the key category all along. With the rising and prosperity of Ci, the connotation of Wanyue and Haofang become more and more rich in the creation of Ci's writing. Since Zhangyan living in the Ming dynasty proposed the Wanyue-Haofang style, the two Ci-poetry aesthetic category formally started entering the theoretical interpretation world of the Ci's critics as two opposing postures style. Through the statistics and analysis based on Ci huacongbian, we can see that, complying with the objective reality of the Ci's development, the criticism in Ming and Qing Dynasty's Cihua have focused on the theory of the category-Wanyue. The connotative meaning of Wanyue mainly embodies whistling melody, erotic subject, soft imago, freshly language and metaphorical tragedy. The connotative meaning of Haofang mainly embodies deep and broad subject, unconstrained style and free melody. The meaning of Wanyue and Haofang are very rich, so they can cover Ci's many styles. Therefore, we can discern, Ci's style can not absolutely divided to Haofang Pai and Wanyue Pai. The development history of Wanyue and Haofang category reflects not only the Ci's spread history and the development of the activity relatively, also reflects the blending of the music literature system and poetic system.
