The trend of root-seeking literature has engendered in mid of 1980s. In the emerging trend of thought at the time it attracted attention, then all kinds of criticism and controversy also took place,and the formation of a variety of different views. By seeking the root of literature research and the writing of Chinese traditional culture, in the roots of works by writers from the show is what they see as well as their understanding of Chinese traditional culture. Because culture is not one-dimensional, stand on their own roots ,writers have seen the perspective of traditional culture are only a partial, if only a writer of a work to replace the whole culture or work to get different perspectives of each other attacks, arrived at contradictory conclusions is inappropriate.The article to explain the interpretive anthropologist Clifford Geertz by borrowing "deep description", the attempt to find a cultural explanation of the indirect approach as well as an "exploration of the meaning of ,the theoretical basis for creative activity.From the roots of the origins of literary and cultural context from, roots of Chinese literary studies have been combing the status quo. Literature and culture of the interaction between the two as well as the possibility of cultural interpretation.Seeking the root of literature describes the dimensions of time and space dimensions as well as the theme to explain the internal vision of China's traditional culture, literature demonstrated that the roots of traditional Chinese culture to the depth of the multi-perspective description, as much as possible to show the traditional culture the true and clear understanding of the roots in the premise of traditional culture to the cultural consciousness.
