Ancient Chinese concept of status in traditional Confucian thought ,through the soil for thousands of years of breeding, have been deeply into the author's narrative thinking. Chinese scholars studied the rise of narrative in the West and built out the scope of traditional Chinese narrative. But it is still a lack of status study in traditional Chinese narrative, not realizing that the concept of statue reflects Chinese and traditional Chinese narrative unique values. The concept of status is a key to understand traditional Chinese narrative. In view of this, I try to construct status narrative theoryIn this paper, the similarities and differences about the concept of status, between Chinese and Western ,points out that the ancient Chinese concept of status with the pan-Level blood characteristics and the concept of the inferiority or superiority. Take "Journey to the West" as an example to explain the traditional Chinese concept of status .Thesis explores from two parts"the narrative construction status and status impact narrative",analyses symbol, characters structure, myth authoritarian narrative to construct status , and study status used as power and affecting narrative structure.Overall, this article, from the ancient Chinese status hierarchy, goes exploring the status concept in the text and explain the interaction between status construction and narrative.
