The crown prince system is an important component of the emperor system. It was established and gradually developed with the generation and development of the emperor system. The crown prince system of ancient China was the combined, then systematized product of the throne—inheritance system (in Xia and Shang Dynasty) and patriarchal clan system (in Western Zhou Dynasty). It lasted from the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty with an important characteristic that the eldest son born of the official wife of the emperor would succeed to the throne firstly, and meanwhile other mutaiton exist. Oweing to the fact that the crown prince was the coming emperor, the foundation of the nation, there had been various kinds of contradiction and confliction with the throne since the crown prince system had come into being.This article is divided into five chapters: The first chapters stored reality and limitation reaching an emperor inheriting system up immediately by the fact that the carding taking form and developing, has summed up and analysing Chinese to Tang crown prince in the previously system in the ancient times. The second chapter describes a comprehensive system of the Tang Dynasty Crown Prince. Third chapter system carding the accession to the throne that 20 emperors store up in Tang Dynasty carries out condition, and measures the way having analysed the crown prince Tang Dynasty accession to the throne. On basis knowing the crown prince Tang Dynasty system in 123rd chapter system, fourth chapters have summed up the crown prince Tang Dynasty system characteristic from four aspects. The fifth chapter analyzes the impact of the Tang Dynasty established by the Crown Prince of factors. Although the legislation to save their role in the process of relight there, but they are not independent of each other, but each has an impact on the role of the common trend. At last chapter shows enormous the crown prince Tang Dynasty system effect from the real effect and history significance of two big aspects.
