Research On The Sanshi Sanshao Of The Crown Prince In The Early Tang Dynasty

In the early Tang Dynasty,the Sanshi Sanshao（三师三少）of the crown prince were at the top of the official sequence in the East Palace.Their setting and selection were closely related to the training of the crown prince,as well as the changes of the status of the crown prince and the political situation.From the role of the prince,the Sanshi Sanshao in the political evolution of the early Tang Dynasty,we can examine the relationship between him and the emperor and the prince,so as to analyze the Sanshi Sanshao in the battle for the crown prince.This paper will address the following five sections:The first part explores the evolution of the system of the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince before the Tang Dynasty,and analyzes the characteristics of the changes in the system of the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince.The early Tang Dynasty inherited the system of the Sui Dynasty,there was also the system of the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince.Specifically,in the early Tang Dynasty,the official positions of the Sanshi Sanshao were set up differently by the emperors,and not all official positions were available,and there were cases where more than one person had one position at the same time.The second part analyzes the selection criteria of the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince in each period by examining the selection and enrolment of the Sanshi Sanshao in the early Tang Dynasty,and then discusses the reasons for the continuous changes in the selection criteria of the Sanshi Sanshao.At the same time,starting from the book-making of the prince’s Sansho Sansho,the procedures and ceremonies of the book,to explore the process of changing the status of the prince’s Sanshi Sanshao.The third part conducts overall textual research on the officials who served in the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince in the early Tang Dynasty,and also includes their place of origin,background,and the concurrent official positions before and after their tenure and during their tenure.And will give officer for prince summarizes the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince group,in the early stage of the tang dynasty the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince group has a more comprehensive understanding.The fourth part analyzes the cultivation of the the Sanshi Sanshao and the prince in the early Tang Dynasty.From which we can see the emperor’s training purpose for the prince,the attitude of the prince,the the Sanshi Sanshao to the prince,and the actual training situation of the the Sanshi Sanshao to the prince.And so on,and then explore the actual influence of the Sanshi Sanshao on the prince.The fifth part focuses on the role played by the Sanshi Sanshao of the crown prince in the battle for the crown prince in the early Tang Dynasty.From Gaozu to Xuanzong,the role played by the Sanshi Sanshao in the battle for the crown prince varied greatly.By analyzing the different roles played by the Shibao during the battle for the crown prince,the changing status and development trend of the crown prince and Shibao in the early Tang Dynasty can be clearly seen.
