Prometheus' "Feat" And "Guilt"

Technology has become one of the most important problems today,how to consider the gains and losses of technology in a Technical times is a major problem to the philosophers all over the world. Heidegger is one of the greatest thinkers in the 20th century, the significance of his thought is that he is thinking "being" in a Technical times.In his later period of study, the road "back to the origin of Greek" shows that the ancient Greek thought is a way to solve the technology problem.In the background of enlightenment and democratic politics,by reading the myth of Prometheus in Hesiod's "Works and Days" and "Theogony", especially by close reading Aeschylus' tragedie "Prometheus Bound", this paper try to show the limited nature of mortal. In the limited situation, we want to show "the paradox" of technology in the greek myth and tragedies,which can reflect the problem of mordern technology. Finally,we study Plato's "Protagoras",Socrates' method may tell us a way to solve the problem.Through the study of these texts, we can have a conclusion:there is a relation among technology, enlightenment and democratic politics, then we should study the technology in this relation.
