On the history of contemporary literature in China, Mo Yan is one of highly creative writers. In his writing career of more than 20 years, Mo Yan has been impacting the Chinese contemporary literary arena with his unique imagination. Though every stage of Mo Yan's novels writing was strongly concerned and extensively paid attention, some unique imagination of his overall writing has not actually obtained commentary and analysis, such as the literary imagination for countryside of the age of 50-70s.This article discussed Mo Yan's countryside literary imagination of the age of 1950-70s in his novels. What is most concerned about is what is the distinctive characteristics of the literary imagination of 50-70s countryside in Mo Yan's novel? What kind of Chinese style writing experience have they provided for the Chinese present age's literary production?The first chapter mainly discussed his respect for his own life experience and the access to the countryside pro-secular culture from the contents and forms shown by literature. This embodied that Mo Yan inherit well the characteristics of the classics Chinese literature and secular life.The second chapter mainly expatiated from the literature performance shape Mo Yan's self-consciousness of writing on Chinese culture, the expression style, and the creative reconstruction for the expression skills on Chinese traditional literature and contemporary literature and the integration of his own concept and the secular life.The Third Chapter mainly discussed from the concept level the countryside savagery through excavating the person's "original desire" in 1980s and "looking for roots" by conscious reflection in 1990s. From three aspects of writing including irony for the revolutionary political culture, questioning the classic farmer image and the relativism writing view, the writer displayed the more unique understanding for political reality and cultural reality.
