During the past few years, the rapidly expanded enrollment of colleges and universities has made the education of senior high schools flourishing. At the same time, it also made the recruitment of secondary vocational schools in difficulty and a sharp decline in the quality of new students. At present, there is serious weariness in secondary vocational schools. If the problem can't be effectively resolved, it could be bound to affect the quality of education in these schools and the supply of medium-skilled personnel, even the stability of society. Therefore, we have researched this problem in theory and practice and made a proposal to resolve it through implementing more appealing instruction.Firstly, this article revealed it has in severe state for the weariness of the secondary school students. After compared with several existing strategies, we think it would be a more feasible approach to resolve this problem to implement more appealing instruction.Secondly, this article gave a definition of what is"more appealing instruction"and pointed out how to design this kind of instruction from the point of view of motivation. During the process, we generalized the existing motivation theory and strategies. And on this base, we put forward a set of motivation strategies with five aspects and a framework for the design of teaching stages in order to enable teachers to implement more appealing instruction conveniently.Thirdly, the article tested the validity of this kind of instruction in practice. We implemented it in Business English course for two Three Grade classes in a secondary specialized school. We learned about the effects of the instruction through observation, interviews and questionnaire. Besides, we also recorded and elaborated it by way of education narrative.Finally, the article made a conclusion after illustrating the practice result that the result of the education practice above mentioned can basically explain the validity of the more appealing instruction to resolve the problem of secondary school students'weariness.
