| With the development of economic globalization,the world is increasingly connected with each other and the exchanges between countries are becoming more and more frequent.Learning English well has become an important part to promote the development between countries.In China,English courses have been offered since the third grade of primary school.It have been set as a compulsory course in junior and senior high schools and has become one of the subjects in the entrance examination.It can be seen that English plays an important role in Chinese education.However,in the current teaching stage of junior high school,students have shown obvious signs of English weariness.The key to improve students’ English scores is to find out the reasons why students are tired of learning.The teacher should guide and stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning English and improve the quality of teaching.Therefore,the author selected the students of the Xindu district of Chengdu XX junior middle school,a total of 325 students as the research objects,to study the reasons of English weariness in junior high school and the ways to deal with it.Using the methods of literature review,questionnaire,interview method to analyze the degree of students’ learning weariness.By using SPSS 22.0,we can see that the students’ English learning weariness is in the middle level.The students of different grades and different genders are analyzed by writer.It can be seen from the chart analysis that the students of this school are not very tired of English learning.Students’ English learning weariness degree rises along with the rise of the grade and the Boy’s degree of English learning weariness is higher than girl’s degree of English learning weariness.According to the analysis of the chart,it can be seen that the factors of students’ English learning weariness are various,and the reasons have been analyzed from the society,family,school and students themselves by the writer.Finally,through deeply investigation and data analysis,combined with the previous research results and my own teaching experience,the author believes that the school,society,family,teachers and other aspects need to work together to improve the phenomenon of junior high school students’ English learning weariness.At the same time,students should also establish good learning objectives and learning motivation and cultivate interest in English learning and learn to learn happily. |
